About Us

Ashley Seaton founded A S Joysticks Ltd in 2013 in a small office in Market Deeping. For the first 3 years the company worked as the sole representative for Spohn & Burkhardt in the UK and Ireland.

In 2016 following a period of rapid growth the decision was made to extend the company’s product offering to enable the company to start to fulfil it’s vision of being a “one stop shop” for automation supplies.

When looking at the vast amount of industries the company was already supplying including ports, steel works and mobile lifting equipment, the one product that these applications had in common alongside the industrial joystick controls was cable chain. Seeing this as the natural fit to take the company in a new and exciting direction, Ashley approached Koduct about becoming their representative for the UK and Ireland and an agreement was quickly signed.

The cable chain product sales have grown rapidly since the original product launch with customers praising our service, technical knowledge and price.

Due to this surge in demand the company moved to new purpose built premises in April 2017 to enable the company to increase the stock holding capabilities and as a result of this move, improve further on our already outstanding reputation for customer service.

In 2017 A S Joysticks will also be adding a range of crane safety components to our product offering, manufactured by RFT in Germany.

Our focus has always been to provide the best possible solution for our customers, whether that is by sitting in the crane driver’s seat to understand and improve the ergonomics and sights lines or simply to carry out regular price reviews to ensure our customers always receive a fair price. We recognise that we are nothing without a strong client base so customer service is always at the forefront of our minds.
